Sting Ray is regarded as best diving and snorkeling spot of the world, and without much surprises it is the spotlight of any trip to the Caymans. This sandy base of the ocean is no less than a carnival of stingrays that have assembled to feed themselves. As and when you go more profound into the waters, your fingers will entice the sting relate and they will ascend to the surface seeking after pieces. Grand Cayman’s acclaimed North Sound has an opening in the reef, which was the daily route for fishermen to enter for a catch. After that fishermen used to sit in quiet waters and cleaned their catches. As they tossed bones and stomach over the surface stingrays would come and eat the parts of fish. This how the Sting rays began relating people with sustenance and in the process got amazingly tamed too.

The individuals who haven’t seen stingrays before would not be able to envision the strangeness of the sight. Stingrays like to cover up under the sandy bottoms of the sea with just their round eyes staying over the floor, guarding themselves from predators like Caribbean reef shark or hammerheads.

Rays have one weapon in their arsenal – a serrated, bunch of thistle secured with venom, four to eight inches long, that can be used to turn away foes or some person settling on top of them. This can bring about an intense damage in individuals which leads to a serious infection, and if the thistle breaks under the skin, then it must be evacuated through surgery.

That is unlikely to happen in this momentous circle, in spite of the fact that, the rays have become habitual to humans. It may sound energizing however precaution should be taken not to touch these wild creatures; rays have a protective mucous on their skins, and touching them can clear this covering, making them defenseless against infections.
