Most of the tourists in Vancouver, resort to the Stanley Park and do their cardio exercises. Indeed it’s a wonderful option but not a standout one. There’s one place which could stand the 8.8km long trail and give you Goosebumps with its dramatic mountainous backdrop and it is the Grouse Grind. It ascends 853m up the forest covered veneer of the Grouse Mountain in the trail of just 3Km in length, no wonder it is often called as the ‘Mother Nature’s Stairmaster’.

The basilica is a treat in itself with majestic vistas of Rhone and Saone rushing past the beautiful city.

Everyone has his/her own perception of the. Some relate it to the Coit tower, for some it’s a fine spot to get the panoramas of the Bay. For people who are passionate about exercises and can’t imagine a single day without their sports gear on, it is the home to the Filbert Steps. For a workout which will stay in your mind longer than you would think run up and down 377 narrow wooden steps, which snake steeply past the green enclosures and vibrantly painted homes.
